Paint Pen Heart Supplies
These painted hearts make perfect kindness rocks. If you are looking for nice stones we have some in the link below. Other than that make sure you have water-based (acrylic) paint pens. This way you can blend them together and easily clean them if needed after. I used fine time and medium tips for my colors and an extra fine white for the dotting.

Paint Pen Painted Hearts Step-by-Step

Start by placing a heart down. Then create stripes inside and a bit over the edge of your heart. Play around with different color combinations, even white. Make sure to doodle off the tips of your paint pens to get off any other colors. Make sure to make all of your stripes in the same direction.
Once you are happy with the blend in your heart, pick one of your colors to trace the outer edge of your rock. Then fill in until you have your heart shape left filled with stripes. Finally, go around your striped heart with dots. If you don’t have a extra fine tip paint pen you can use acrylics and a tooth pick.
Play around with different colors and the direction of your stripes! There are endless combinations!
