This pastel set of Posca pens is perfect for getting the conversation heart colors!
Today I was working on darker rocks. So before adding any colors, I painted my heart with white.
If you are working on a white rock or a light basecoat color you can skip this step.
Now that you are working on a light surface you will only need to add on one coat of your color.
Next, add on your face. A set of wide set big eyes will do. Add in your smile as well!
Now add on some little legs and an outline. You could add arms if you like. I liked the look without, but you do you!
Allow the eyes to dry completely then add on a white highlight.
101Tip: If you do not have a white 1M paint pen you can simply use a toothpick or sharpened pencil to add on your highlight!
If you are creating these hearts on larger rocks you can add on cute phrases. YOU ROCK, SWEET PEA, Etc. Since mine were smaller I could only fit BFF onto one.
I hope you give smiling hearts these a try!
