For this rock painting tutorial I have blended together a few different tutorials from the past. To create this Easter cross rock we are creating a silhouette using an easy technique! This is the perfect Easter rock for beginners to try to recreate!

I have this thing for using Post-Its in my rock painting. The little bit of stick and the way they can wrap around the edge of the rock make them one of my favorite tools! I just created this fun paint splat heart rock and I just knew I wanted to do something similar for Easter. Adding the gold was the final touch that just makes this rock glow.

Supplies to create this Easter Cross rock

For the colors on my rock today I used my 5M Posca Paint Pens. You could use a smaller size if you have them. Brush and paint might over saturate the paper causing a lot of paint to bleed through and under.  

For the cross I used the gold out of this amazing metallic set of paints.
I touched up at the end using my 1M Black Posca. You could easily touch up with a liner brush and paint as well.
