How to paint Sloth Rocks
I’m not quite sure when it happened, but sloths are in. The kids think they are cute, full disclosure I do too. They are on t-shirts and staring in movies. So, of course, I needed to put one on a rock! This guy was the perfect addition to our animal rocks.
Painting animal rock can be hard for some. But, if you go with a more cartoon style it can be as simple as breaking down the shapes. You don’t need to go in hair by hair to create an adorable sloth rock. This “hang in there” rock was fun to make and easy enough that I am certain after watching the tutorial you can do it too!

Supplies to paint this sloth rock
For this stone, I pulled out my Posca Pens. They don’t come in every color I needed so I did have to do some blending. All of the colors can be done with the 3M Set.
For the lining and words, I grabbed my 1M Black Posca.
