Miranda has joined us before sharing some of her tips on how to start mandala paintings on stones. She enjoys gifting rocks to others, donating them to charities and she sells some in her Etsy shop! However, some of them she likes to keep to display. Coming up with a fun way to show off your painted rocks has often been chatted about in the rock painting groups for awhile now. These sticky discs are changing everything!!
How to Hang your Painted Stones
For this process you will need sticky wall hanger discs from Bethel Pastures and a foam brush. Grab the discs in Miranda’s Etsy shop here. What an amazing game changer these discs are, now we can hang painted rocks on the wall!
Adding Wall Hangers to Display your Painted Rocks
Select the appropriate size disc for your stone. There a quite a few options to choose from. Remember the hook will be at the top so take that into your measurement, depending on if you would like the ring exposed or not.
Next, use a foam brush to wet the back to activate the glue.
Wait 5 to 10 minutes after mixing the glue on, until it gets tacky feeling.
Now make sure your stone is in the proper position for hanging. You don’t want the ring at the bottom! Then apply disc to the back of stone working all the air bubbles out and smoothing it.
Now wait 24 hours. Check by lifting it up by the hanger to make sure it has adhered properly to your stone. You are now ready to hang your stone on the walls for your own home decor with your stone art!
