One of my favorite thing about creating zendangle rocks is you can customize them to anything!

Choose your favorite colors, add in words, or even make them holiday themed! Like this fun Happy Halloween Zendangle rock!

Starting this style of rock is as simple as placing your words along the top of your rock.

Use the end of your letters to wrap around and create a base for your dangles to hang from.

Step by step instructions for this dangle painted rock

Using the 1M Posca pens make this a breeze! Shop with ease and grab all the supplies you need from our shopping list!

Start by writing Happy Halloween across the top of your rock.

Next, start adding vertical lines down from your base. You can add as many or few as you want.

101 Tip: Don’t place them too close together so you have space for your designs. You can always add more dangles later, but you can’t take them away!

Now start adding your designs. Think of all things Halloween! Candy corn, spiders, or just basic shapes to add color to later.

There are NO RULES to this so let your imagination take over and see what comes.

Create all of these shapes using black. You will be able to cover your black with color after so don’t worry about the inside of your shape. Focus on having the outline look how you like.

Now it’s time to add in color! I like to bounce around my dangles to spread around the color. Add any accent you like or even more dangles if you think you need it!

Touch up when you are done with black.

If you want to get in even more detail you can use a Micron pen. These come in very fine tips. Just remember if using these pens use a light touch so you don’t wear down your tip!
