Step by step instructions for this Halloween rock painting idea
You can grab the Posca pens that I used on this painted rock here.
Start with an outline of your candy corn. Just a rounded off tall triangle.
Then add a couple of lines to section off the 3 colors. Yellow, orange, and white.
The orange is always a bit bigger so make sure not to just divide by thirds.
Since I didn’t basecoat my rock I planned on a few coats of my lighter colors, like white and yellow.
Once you have your first coat down you can use your dry time to add on legs, arms, and even a trick or treat bag.
Add a second layer of color and a base color for your candy’s bag. Once, that is all dry give your candy corn another outline that is nice and crisp.
Decorate the little trick or treat bag.
Then paint on a face.
Let your black dry completely before adding the final touch, a little white twinkle in their eye!
These are so cute you will want to make a bunch!
