In this tutorial I am using my PC-1MR Posca black. You will see a few different background techniques used behind the lettering. For the swirl effect, check out this pour painting backdrop. The other 2 toned stones were painted with a big brush base coat.

How to Paint 3D Letters Step-by-Step
Below you will find step by step images on how to create this design. There is a full video tutorial after if you are looking for more details or tips!
Start by drawing the empty letters. Practice on paper doing the letters first, or you can fill them in a solid color if you have a hard time with the outline. Pick a “vanishing point”. For this rock I am using the top of the middle L in ALL. Make a short line that heads towards this point off of all of your letters at the corners and edges.
Next, go along all of the edges and fill them in by making them the same thickness. You can leave parts blank or cut out if you are too close to your other letters. Like on the L above or on the E in the image below. Finally, place a few little hearts around and you’re done!
