Dotted Rainbow
Rainbow Rocks are probably right up there with heart rocks for me.
There are endless ways to create them and all those colors always leave me with a smile on my face!
Today I am sharing with your a fun dotted rainbow.
Now I’m using my paint pens for these, but if you do not have paint pens pick out 3 different sized dotting tools.
Make sure the largest tip is still small enough to fit 6 rows of color on your rock with room to spare. You can check out some different dotting tools here.

Step by step instructions for this dotted rock
You can grab the Posca pens that I used on this painted rock here.
Start by placing your cloud. Just like you might think nice fluffy rounded edges of white.
Then you can add a bit of gray along the edges if you need. I had a white rock so I needed the edge to make it pop.
Go back with your white and blend the edge in a bit.
Next, start spacing out your rainbow colors. Start with your largest sized dots and go from the cloud to your edge in red.
Next, move slightly right of center to do your green.
This will help with your spacing a bit. Know you need to fit 2 more lines to the left and to the right. Then fill in your other 4 colors.
Now go onto your next sized down dots. Decide how you want to place them based on the space you have.
Finally, do the same with your smallest dots.
Then you’re done! You could make your rainbow any shape you want.
The biggest part about this process is the spacing. Once you get that down you can do as many dots as you like!
