Having these glitter Poscas will give your unicorn a fun sparkle
Start by painting a base coat for the main shapes of the unicorn. I started with a white oval, an orange triangle, and some red for the Santa hat.
101 Tip: I always do a coat of white first. Most of the time on a plain rock you will need a second layer. This gives it plenty of time to dry.
Add on your unicorns hair. I like to go with 3 colors. Today I went with pinks and green to fit our Christmas theme.
Now let’s decorate our unicorn’s horn. I have to give credit to my son. These lights were his idea and I think are the best part of this rock!
Begin at the tip of your horn by lining it black.
Then create a C shape, to the left of the horn, make sure to leave a bit of background showing.
Then bring your line down across the horn in a downward slant. Go out over the right edge of the horn paint a backward C shape on the right side of the horn.
Imagine about where it would pop out on the other side and repeat all the way to the bottom of your horn.
Next, add the outlines of your lights. If the lines are a bit thick it is OK, when you add in the colors it can cover some of the extra lines.
Now outline the rest of your unicorn.
This is when I noticed I forgot my ear! Go ahead an add one if you like. Next, paint on the nostrils and eyes.
At this point, you could be done. I was unhappy with how much forehead my unicorn had so I decided to move the cap down a bit.
Then I re-outlined my Santa cap.
