It’s hard to believe that I have been painting rocks over on our Facebook page for nearly a year!
Luckily that means we have a bunch of fun Christmas rock ideas that are already created!

Step by step instructions for this holiday gnome painted rock
These guys are so simple to make and you could make them in any color combination you want!
Start by drawing on your gnomes beard. Fill it in white at the top and gray at the bottom.
Blend the colors together using your pens or paint brush. There is no need for water if the paint is still wet. 
Next, paint in your face shape and hat outline. You may need more than one coat depending on the base color of your rock. 
Then add your details. A few lines will give the beard some flow. Add on a couple eyes and pink cheeks. 
Use a 1M paint pen to outline your whole pictures.
101 Tip: Give the hat some dimension by adding in some fold lines. Try to picture the top of his head and make that the right side of a letter Y.
