Step by step instructions for this cacti painted rock
Grab a green Posca paint pen, or your favorite shade of acrylic, and paint an oval to be the base of your cactus.
Then add a couple of small ovals to be the cactus branches. Loosely color in the ovals.
While the green is drying, you can paint some blue around the cactus. Or you can use these tips to start with a base coat instead.
Grab a lighter shade of green and fill in some of the empty spaces of your oval. Follow that with another coat of the darker green.
Add some brown along the bottom to be desert sand.
Grab a smaller paint pen and draw the outline of the cactus rock.
Finish it off with small “v” shapes for the thorns. If you want, you can even add a couple of flowers.
