Supplies To Paint Christmas Rocks
For painting this Christmas tree rock you will need white acrylic paint to create the tree shape. The patchwork patterns were created with paint pens. Acrylic paint could also be used for these. As far as the line work, a extra fine tip black paint pen is really nice to have!

How to Paint a Patchwork Christmas Tree Step-by-Step
Below you will find step by step images on how to create this design. There is a full video tutorial after if you are looking for more details or tips!
Start by placing down a large triangle with a small square at the bottom in white acrylic paint. Use a black paint pen to break the triangle into sections. Next, mix and match your fabric patterns or colors inside your created sections.
These sections can be as detailed or simple as you like! You can layer colors and create some fun designs, or you can simply do solid colors! Last, go over all of your black lining again to crisp up your pattern edges. Then create little stitches X V H l shapes to connect all your sections. A few on the outside edges looks good too!
