I really love to paint rocks in the fall. The colors around are so inspiring! So we are pulling from these hues to create lovely painted leaf kindness rocks.
Supplies to Paint Autumn Leaves
For these stones I am pulling an orange and red from my Deco Art acrylic pack. I finish up with a Posca Gold 1-MR pen. Any fine tip pen will work. I just love how the gold compliments the red and orange. I also cannot write words with a brush very well.

How to Blend Acrylic Paint on Rocks
I will give you a quick run down if you just need a few tips. There is also a full-length tutorial below to see the whole process start to finish!
Start by placing your leaf shape down in white. Let it dry completely before getting started. This really helps the colors pop. Place down a layer of each color first. Do not worry about blending at this point. Then work with a dabbing motion using the red paint a little more towards the center.
Next, with the orange on the brush dab along the same line. You will create a nice medium tone on your brush. Continue this until you are happy with your the blend of your leaves. When the leaves were dry I lined in gold and added blessed to the edge on some of them.
