For this holiday painted rock, I used Extra Fine tip (1M) Posca Pens
Start by sketching out a circle on your rock with brown. Use short little strokes as you work your way around.
101 Tip: If you need to, trace something to get your first circle. Then sketch around the outside.
Go along your circle with short little sketches of black, then go right back with your brown while it is still wet to help create different shades of brown.
Now start to pull your twigs out and away from your wreath. Keep moving your strokes the same way around the circle.
Now with your green start adding on your needles. Start at the tip of each brown branch and work your way back to the center.
Go all the way around your wreath.

Then start adding needles to the branches around the center of the wreath.
Last but not least, you need to decorate! I chose little clusters of red berries.
